The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Review

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Review
4

Bethesa has done it again. After five years since Oblivion’s critical success, they have created yet another potentially legendary hit, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Skyrim takes everything great about the series and attempts to fix everything that is bad. However, some of the bad remains. I cannot completely blame Bethesda considering the intimidating amount […]

I friggin’ love free games and who better to release them than students at Digipen Institute of Technology? Team Nitronic has created an amazing game called Nitronic Rush. Inspired by Tron and Rez, this San-Francisco-Rush-esque game offers engaging and pulse-pumping gameplay in the form of a classical arcade rac … well … I am not […]

Planning on buying Skyrim? Torn between which system to buy it for? I am here to tell you that, if you have a computer that can run it, the PC version will be the best bang for your buck. For those of you who aren’t computer savvy or owned Morrowind or any recent Bethesda game […]

This also makes them hard pressed to introduce creative […]

Dead Island

Dead Island

Dead Island has, by far, the worst case of multiple personality disorder I have ever seen. From Borderlands to Dead Rising to Dead Space to Left 4 Dead, the game oddly combines the best of each into one beefy hybrid. After players having endured a five year spike in zombie games, Techlands gives us a […]

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

For those who are not familiar with the Witcher series, it is based off a mid-90s Polish book series of the same name by Andrzej Sapkowski. Though not having personally been able to read the series since only one book of the five has been translated to English, I have heard that the Witcher games maintain the thematic elements Sapkowski establishes in the books. People are used to black and white storytelling where there is a clear line between good and evil. This is not so in the Witcher. A majority of the game is making decisions that have no clear moral binding.

Dead Space 2 is Visceral Game’s highly anticipated sequel to their 2008 hit. Set three years after the events of the first game, Isaac Clarke has now found himself in another necromorph filled predicament. But on top of this, he has to now deal with his own inner demons. Visceral Games manages to present an […]
