If you stop and think about it, I’ll bet you can count on one hand the amount of video games with a number after the title that are any good. I’ll even go as far as to wager there are even less that you would consider to be better than the original game. Recently, Valve has made an attempt to enter into this coveted unofficial hall of fame with Portal 2. If you’re anything like me, you have fond memories of a smart mouthed, disembodied, computerized, robot voice with a set of morals the KKK would frown upon pushing you through multiple, puzzle-filled chambers that can melt your brain (sometimes literally) while attempting to solve them. Has Valve managed to live up to the challenge with Portal 2? In a word, no; they've not only lived up to it, they’ve completely bitch-slapped it.

And Jason, with is incredible editing skizillz got the file ready!

Anyway... enough bitching. With all the portable gaming that's been going on with the InDis crew, we thought it would be a good idea to talk about the portable gaming in general and how it's changed and where it may be going. We do so in a very... unstructured... fashion. There was a strong desire to throw in the old Gameboy tagline "Now you're playing with Power... Portable Power," but we forgot.

So, enjoy!

Distractions as usual, Geoff talks about more Mass Effect. Jason is back into PSU and EDF. He also talks a little about Undertow. Chris talks more about Uncharted, as well as a couple PSN releases... including *Pain.

Another long episode though. We seem to be going backwards on this one. However, it's all good content. At least we think it is.

Chris got a new mic, and now we are in search of new recording software b/c we continue to have trouble. Apologies, there are a few times when someone will cut out.

*During the episode, Chris comments that there is "an issue" with the "Super Ooch" in Pain. The reason for this problem was that he had his Rock Band instruments still plugged in at the time. You have to have your controller set to Controller 1 upon entering the game. So, if you are having this issue, make sure your controller is set to port 1 BEFORE entering the game.</itunes:summary>

That's right, we're here. Whether you like it or not! This week, besides the normal distractions and news, we give some initial impressions on Super Mario Galaxy as well as talk about the Uncharted Demo and what we thought about it.

This is our first episode and we hope that you at least enjoy it a little bit. Please leave us comments and tell us what you think. We will be making adjustments in future episodes to try to get the time down to about a hour.
