Bandwidth Exceeded? Holy Crap!

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

Hello all.

Between the times of Midnight and about 10:30 AM of 10/29, our site was down due to exceeded bandwidth.  Much to our surprise.

We have contacted our host getstacked.com and they have uped our bandwidth so that should not be an issue again for quite a while.

We have been experiencing increased traffic and downloads and were apparently less prepared than we thought we were for said increased traffic.

So… to sum up… sorry for the inconvenience and all should be well now.  But in reality, it’s hard to be upset about so many new people getting to know us.  :)

<3 you good and thanks for your patience,
Chris

Episode 010 has been postponed…

Monday, January 21st, 2008

The almighty Lord of the Cast has deemed us unworthy this week.  Recording was not meant to be.  Our regular Thursday night session was brought to a halt by a family emergency and postponed until Sunday evening.  Sunday came and left Geoff internetless - unable to play podcast with the other kids.

Instead of a hasty episode on Monday night, the decision was made to postpone Episode 010 until next week.  My heart breaks along with yours.  As a consolation prize, we will be releasing TWO episodes next week!  Both Episode 010 AND an InDis Super Bonus Feature - Mass Effect!

Stay tuned…

Oh, Odeo… The Hate/Love for You is Strong

***sigh***

Apologies to anyone who has been trying to access the ‘Send Me an Odeo’ function from our site. I’m deeply saddened to say… well… it’s borked. Odeo is currently undergoing a restructuring phase… Long story short, they’re hard at work at rebuilding the service from the ground up and don’t have time to fix the current services… Namely, the ‘Send me an Odeo’ feature we’ve been pimping during our shows. As such, I’m tooling around looking for a solution. Our options are limited. Recording audio via Flash requires licensing and… whooo… it’s costly. Another embedded option may be a java applet. If nothing else, we can always set up a voicemail line. Not ideal as the sound quality isn’t the best, but… whatever… it’s an option. I’d really love to have voicemails for the show.
