Twin Blades lets us kick ass for the lord in time for x-mas
Zombies? For Christmas? Aww… you shouldn’t have. Actually, for real; you shouldn’t have. There are soooo many zombie games out there that…. Wait. Is that a nun? Shooting zombies? Uhhh, flamethrower? Ok, fiiiiiine. Sold.
Indie French developer, Press Start Studio, is dropping Twin Blades:The Reaping Vanguard on Xbox Live under the Indie Games platform. Twin Blades is… uhhh… wait. Here you go! Press release!
Twin Blades is a frantic shooter set in a medieval-fantasy zombie-filled universe boasting unique manga-stylized graphics. Players incarnate the cute scythe-waving nun with a mission to clear the city of all its undead inhabitants. To do so they will have to constantly juggle between the slashing ability of the nun and her arsenal of ranged weapons while dodging enemy zombies, rendering a unique and palpitating gameplay.
The game features:
– 6 range weapons ranging from machinegun to explosive nukes
– Upgradable skills which can be bought and trained
– 7 different kind of zombies, mind the grabbers!
– 5 cool musics and exclusive sound effects which will immerse you into the epic slaughter
– A local Challenges & High-Scores system which keeps track of players’ progress
Twin Blades: The Reaping Vanguard is set for release by Christmas 2009 on the Xbox Live Indie
Games at the retail price price of 240 MS points.
Personally, this pretty much makes Christmas for me. I’m really in love with the 2-D art style and can’t wait to give them my space bucks. If only all Indie titles looked this good.
