Assassin’s Creed 2 DLC Coming VERY Soon
Ubisoft announced today that the industry’s possible game of the year, Assassin’s Creed 2, is getting two sets of DLC, and that they are coming to us sooner rather than later.
The first run of DLC is titled, “The Battle of Forli,” and it will be released to us sometime in late January for the interestingly low price of $3.99. It will consist of about 5 new missions, or memories, and also promises more use of Da Vinci’s flying machine, which excites me seeing that the campaign only makes you to use it once.
The second, called “Bonfire of the Vanities,” arrives just one month later in February for $4.99 and gives us a whopping 10 new missions and also a new “spring-board jump” to help improve Ezio’s city-wide traversing.
It seems that Ubisoft is attempting to take a page from Bethesda’s book and distribute DLC in back to back months like they did with their Fallout 3 DLC. Let’s hope that the Assassin’s Creed 2 DLC shares the same quality as Fallout‘s, because the low price points make me a tad skeptical.
This could be noteworthy to most 360 users; both of these new adventures will take up to a full gig of hard drive space a piece, so if you readers are like me, we will have to “clean the fridge” to give us the appropriate room to fit Ezio’s next assassination.
Look for some impressions sometime in January, pending any delays from Ubisoft.
