So in this bonus episode, we talk about MGS4 on an Act per Act basis.  We go into how we fought bosses, whether we killed or tranqed, that kind of thing.  We also dissect a lot of the cut scenes and go into detail about the ending. So….

We’re a day late. Sorry. But we had our reasons.

Turned out that not all of us had beaten MGS4 by the time Thursday came around, so we ended up recording on Sunday… late Sunday. Too late to edit for Monday morning.

Then, turned out that our show ended up being 3 hours long! Way too long. So what we ended up doing is pulling out the “spoiler filled” portion of our feature and we’re going to make another special episode out of it. Funny thing is that it will end up longer than this episode. Wow… we really liked this damn game. So expect to see that in the next couple of days.

So, with that said, we have Distractions, News, MGS4 overview, a really fast new release list and email segment. And then… a very exciting announcement for our question of the week.

Being the rabid fans that Chris and I are, we decided to hit up our local Gamestop’s Midnight Release for MGS4. Well, that and I don’t know that we trusted GS to NOT sell our Collector’s Edition preorders.

The pics we were able to take are deceptive… there were a lot more people that eventually showed up as the clock ticked down.

Overall, we had a blast. It was great meeting new people and hanging out with other MGS fans.

OH! And, obviously, we were also there to get some audio for our MGS Memories feature on tonight’s show.
