Meet the other three horsemen
Many of us have been playing Darksiders lately, where you take on the role of War; one of the four horsemen that was awakened by mistake. This gamer has been having a ton of fun with the game and would love to see THQ and Vigil do more with the new franchise. So I was happy to hear this news.
In a recent chat with VG247.com, Vigil head Joe Madureira mentioned that the other 3 horsemen have been designed already. Now, many that know the horsemen will expect to hear about Pestilence, Famine and Death. Pestilence and Famine have been changed. Not sure why, but this morning the other three have been revealed and if you think War looks cool… check out Death, Fury and Strife!

*Cough* Anyway, hopefully this means we’ll get a sequel? Maybe? Vigil? THQ? Make it happen!

They look cool but I am somewhat disappointed that they’ve not gone with the Classic Horsemen of Famine and Pestilence. It feels like a cop out and a little bit lazy that they haven’t even tried to get those two to work. Trying to use hunger and disease to kill would have been an interesting thing to try.
I’m a little curious as to why they made the changes. I’m hoping that we’ll have an opportunity to ask them eventually, but not promising anything just yet.
The short comic book that came with the pre-order of the game at GameStop have the other 3 horsemen in it along with those pictures. Also, I hope there is a sequel to the game because the ending left it open for a sequel and I want to see what happens next in the story.
