Halo Legends priced and dated

Some people have already experienced some of the Halo Legends on the Halo Waypoint on XBL over the past month or so. These anime shorts are written, produced and animated by some of the best in the business.

But those who have not…coughuscanadianscough or for those who want to own all 7 short anime stories on a DVD or Blu Ray disc, you’re in luck.

Kotaku is reporting that there will be 3 versions available on February 16th of this year. The standard DVD will set you back $19.98, the 2 disc DVD pack will be $29.98 and will come with a second disc that is packed with special features such as a complete history of Halo from it’s conception to where it is now, making of documentaries and of course the now standard commentary tracks by Frank O’Connor and Joseph Chou and last but definitely not least the Blu Ray edition which will stick ya with $34.99 and will come with everything that is included in the dual DVD package.

These are definitely something to look forward to for Halo fans and even if you’re not into the videogames but might be curious about Halo’s universe, characters and canon,  this might be a good way to enjoy it as well.

Oh, and for the PS3 only folk out there, this is likely the only time you’ll see Halo and Blu Ray on the same package.
